JA Solar 615W in Oman: A Purchasing Manager's Honest Take (Plus Battery Switches and Wind Turbines)
If you need a quick answer: the JA Solar 615W Deep Blue 4.0 Pro is a strong module for a commercial rooftop, and it earned a place on our procurement list when we were pricing a warehouse project in Oman. But the bigger lesson is that panel wattage is just the headline. You also need to plan for how you will handle 35kg modules, isolate batteries for maintenance, and compare solar against wind on numbers that actually matter.

That said, this is not a universal recommendation. If you have a windy property in the south of Oman or a utility-scale site, wind might make sense as part of the mix. My view is for a typical commercial rooftop project with limited roof space and a buyer who has to live with the invoice afterwards.
